D12

A different kind of flame ignited in Detroit, MI when D12 first came together. Forged in underground clubs through relentless battle raps, elite cyphers, and unforgettable did he really just say that moments, the group sparked something raw and undeniable. That energy exploded with their 2001 debut Devil’s Night, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, went double platinum, and delivered iconic tracks like Purple Pills, Ain’t Nuttin’ But Music, and Fight Music. The fire only grew stronger with 2004’s D12 World, another number one album that achieved double platinum status and produced their biggest hit, the Gold certified Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 single My Band. Along the way, D12 collaborated with major artists including Gorillaz, 50 Cent, Tech N9ne, and Funkmaster Flex, further cementing their place in hip hop history. In 2006, the group faced a devastating loss with the passing of founding member Proof. Despite this, D12 continued to carry his spirit forward through mixtapes, performances, and a commitment to their legacy. Now, in 2026, D12 returns. Honoring every member who shaped their journey, their long awaited third album, D12 Forever, captures the group at its core, dark, dynamic, and unapologetically real. Led by Kuniva and Swifty McVay, the flame still burns strong.
