Biographie

Víctor Manuelle has established himself as one of the most dominant and influential figures in tropical music. A two-time Latin GRAMMY® winner, with 20 combined GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® nominations, he’s earned multiple RIAA Multi-Platinum, Platinum, and Gold certifications, and 5 Guinness World Records. As a pioneer in the modern evolution of salsa, he helped redefine the genre by naturally integrating urban influences while preserving its traditional essence. Collaborations with Bad Bunny, Farruko, Wisin, Yandel, Don Omar, and Tego Calderón expanded salsa’s global reach and strengthened its cross-generational appeal. His dominance on the Billboard charts is historic: 29 #1 hits on Tropical Airplay, 47 entries on Hot Latin Songs, 78 total chart appearances, and 12 No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Tropical Albums chart. His crossover appeal was further demonstrated when Muy Personal reached #1 on the Latin Pop chart. His signature album Que Suenen Los Tambores became a defining anthem of modern salsa, while seasonal productions such as Memorias de Navidad and La Parranda Es Mía cemented his status as redefining voice of Christmas. Beyond music, Víctor Manuelle remains deeply committed to social causes, serving since 2015 as spokesperson for the De Frente al Alzheimer Foundation. More than 3 decades into his career, he continues to be a defining force in Latin music — a hit making artist, respected songwriter and producer, and one of salsa’s most beloved icons.
