How rarity follows popularity
Deezer gives every song a popularity score from 0 to 1,000,000. HitMasters splits that score into six bands: the more a song is played, the higher its certification.
Each pull first picks a certification using the published odds, then a random song among those that carry it. A hit is therefore rare to pull and an under-the-radar song common: on average, a Hall of Fame shows up in 1 pack out of 200.
Living rarity
Popularity changes, and so does the certification. When a preview is played, HitMasters reads the song’s score again, and a daily check refreshes the most collected songs. A song on the rise moves up for every copy, and the record shop resale price follows.
Early fan
Pulled a song before it blew up? If one of your records climbs at least 2 certification steps since you got it, reaching Gold Record or higher, it becomes an Early fan: a badge you keep even if the song drops back, plus 10 royalties per step gained.
