What is HitMasters?
HitMasters is a music trading card game you play in your browser. Every record is a real song, its rarity follows its real popularity, and you get a free pack of 5 records every 10 minutes.
Is HitMasters free?
Yes. The game is completely free, with no ads and no purchases: a free pack arrives every 10 minutes, and quests earn royalties and XP.
Can you make money with royalties?
No. Royalties are the in-game currency: you use them to bid in auctions and balance trades, and they can never be converted into money. No pack or record is ever sold for real money.
What are the pack odds?
Each record in a pack is pulled independently: Demo 70%, B-Side 20%, Gold Record 6%, Platinum Record 3%, Diamond Record 0.9%, Hall of Fame 0.1%. There’s no guarantee and no pity timer: on average, a Hall of Fame shows up in 1 pack out of 200.
Where do the songs come from?
From the Deezer catalog: every record is a real recording, with its title, artist, album and 30-second preview, streamed from Deezer and never downloaded.
Do I need a Deezer account?
No. Previews play without an account. To import a wantlist, all you need is a link to a public Deezer playlist, no Deezer login. HitMasters is an independent game, not published or endorsed by Deezer.
How is a record’s rarity decided?
By the song’s real popularity on Deezer, split into six certifications from Demo to Hall of Fame. The more a song is played, the rarer it is to pull.
Can a record’s certification change?
Yes, rarity is alive: when a song’s popularity shifts, its certification follows for every copy. If one of your records climbs at least 2 steps since you got it, you become an Early fan of that song.
Can I sell or trade my records?
Yes, always for royalties: to the record shop, which buys back any copy; at auction to other players, from level 5; or through a trade with a friend. There are no fees: the seller gets the full final price, and royalties added to a trade arrive in full.
How old do I need to be?
You must be at least 15 to create an account, the age from which French law lets you consent on your own to the processing of your data.
What data do you collect?
Only what the game needs: your email address (or Google account), your username and your progress. No ad trackers, no analytics, and your data is never sold.
Does HitMasters work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, in the browser, with nothing to download. To use it like an app: on iPhone, in Safari, tap Share then “Add to Home Screen”; on Android, open the browser menu then “Install app”.
